Apple strengthens user privacy protection and has rejected nearly 1 million application applications from 2020 to 2022
On June 7th, according to official reports released over the past three years, Atlas found that the Apple App Store had rejected 958000 applications for privacy violations from 2020 to 2022.
According to this report, the main data is summarized as follows:
Apple is increasingly concerned about violating user privacy, as the number of applications rejected by developers has increased from 215000 in 2020 to 400000 in 2022.
Since 2020, Apple has prevented potential fraudulent payments of over $5.09 billion.
Apple has deployed App Audit Guidelines, Privacy Tags, and App Tracking Transparency features to help users with privacy.
Apple added transparency requirements for app tracking in the App Store in 2021, allowing users to decide whether it can be tracked.
Another privacy related feature is email address blocking, which makes it difficult for third parties to connect users' network activities between different services.
