Add 2 new speakers, iFixit disassembles Apple's 15 inch MacBook Air laptop
The repair website iFixit recently released a complete Apple 15-inch MacBook Air disassembly video on its YouTube channel. Its interior is basically the same as the 13-inch model, with the only significant difference being the addition of two additional speakers.
Battery:
After dismantling the Apple 15 inch MacBook Air, it was found to be equipped with a larger battery, but Apple officials stated that its battery life is the same as the 13 inch model.
The internal battery has adhesive tabs that are easy to disassemble, but users need to disassemble several other components before they can access the battery.
SSD:
Just like the disassembly video released by other media earlier, Apple's 15-inch MacBook Air logic board is equipped with an M2 chip, the 256GB version is equipped with a single NAND chip, and the 512GB, 1TB, or 2TB models use dual N AND chips, which will affect the speed of SSD operation.
IFixit states that the 15 inch MacBook Air is difficult to repair, and the memory and storage cannot be upgraded. Users need to purchase according to future expansion needs.
