IOS 17 Podcast Application Upgrade: Optimize UI and Interaction, Enhance Search Filtering Function
On June 7, it was reported that in the iOS/iPad OS 17 developer preview update released recently, Apple adjusted the user interface of the podcasts application to make it look more modern and have a smoother interactive experience.
The 'Now Playing' screen no longer features a white or gray background, but rather a design element similar to Apple Music, featuring blurring effects and improved volume and playback progress control.
Apple has also adjusted the chapter list of podcast programs to accurately display how much time is left until the next program and the duration of each program.
When the program displays images of each episode, they are displayed at the top of the "Now Playing" screen, with podcast illustrations displayed in smaller sizes directly below, followed by the title.
Apple has also adjusted the Listen Now tab, with each podcast program card using the same color as the cover. Users can now filter search results by popular results, programs, episodes, and channels.
