Apple's first fanless laptop has come to an end, with news claiming that the first 12 inch MacBook was listed as an outdated product this month
On June 2nd, according to an internal memo obtained by foreign technology media MacRumors, Apple plans to list the initial 12 inch MacBook as an "outdated product" on June 30th.
Apple's definition of 'outdated products' is as follows:
Obsolete products refer to products that have been discontinued by Apple for more than 5 years but less than 7 years.
Devices classified as' outdated products', if damaged or seeking after-sales assistance, cannot be repaired and serviced through Apple Store retail stores or authorized service providers as Apple no longer provides relevant parts.
Apple launched the 12 inch MacBook in March 2015, which features a lightweight design and weighs only two pounds. It is also Apple's first fanless laptop, starting at $1299 .
The standard specifications of the first generation models include a 1.1GHz dual core Intel Core M processor, integrated Intel graphics card, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD.
